How Affiliate Links Work

When you click a "Visit Site" or "Try Free" link in our tool listings, we may use an affiliate tracking link. If you subsequently sign up for a paid plan, the vendor may pay us a referral commission. This commission comes from the vendor — not from you — and does not change the price you pay.

We use affiliate commissions to fund our research, testing, and editorial operations. Without this revenue model, we could not maintain our team of independent researchers who test every tool we review.

What We Disclose and When

We disclose affiliate relationships at the top of any page or article where affiliate links appear. You'll see a note like: "Some links on this page may be affiliate links. See our Affiliate Disclosure for details."

We believe in proactive transparency — we'd rather over-disclose than leave any doubt about our motivations.

What Affiliate Relationships Do NOT Affect

• Tool scores and rankings. Our 5-dimension scoring methodology applies equally to tools with and without affiliate relationships.
• Which tools we include. Tools are selected based on their quality and relevance, not their commission rates.
• Our written assessments. Pros, cons, and conclusions are based purely on our testing experience.
• Our comparison tables. We will list a competitor as superior if our testing demonstrates it — even if that competitor pays a lower commission.

Tools We Review Without Affiliate Relationships

A significant portion of tools in our directory have no affiliate relationship with us. We include them because they are relevant, high-quality options our readers deserve to know about. Our goal is a complete, accurate directory — not a commission-maximizing one.
